Father
Christmas must be really busy getting his sacks of gifts ready before he sets sail from the North Pole tonight. Soon, he will board his reindeer sleigh and start spreading love. So, to ensure that the little stars of Bengal’s film and television world are not left out, we asked them what they wanted from Santa. Here’s what they told us:
‘Please gift me a Monopoly board game’I love board games.
So Santa, please gift me the game, Monopoly. I’ve hung a sock on my
Christmas tree, which I decorated myself. I also plan to sleep early on Christmas Eve so that I can wake up early to open the gifts. We are travelling to Mussoorie soon and I am eagerly looking forward to the trip.
Lots of love,
Tiyasha Pal‘I want to take a selfie with you’I’ve hung a big sock near my window and also a bag as a backup. I really want a remote- controlled car. And all my toy cars have run out of batteries. So, please get me some power cells too. Can I tell you a secret? This year, I’ve planned to stay up so that I can meet you and take a quick selfie!
With love,
Soumyodipta Saha‘Please bring me Thanos’s infinity gauntlet’I am told that you are not real. But in case you are, I’d like you to bring me Thanos’s Infinity Gauntlet and the entire Iron Man suit. I want to defeat all the dushtu people around. I also want you to bring some peace in the world. And if you are real, I’d like to meet you and ask you how you have survived all these years.
See you,
Brata Banerjee‘I want to excel in playing the tabla’I would love to have a fountain pen and the Batul the Great or Nonte Fonte series of books. I also wish some of the naughty boys in my class behave nicely with me, my friends and teachers love me and since I play the tabla, I want to excel in that. I also wish to meet Param (Parambrata Chatterjee) uncle on Christmas.
With love,
Srijato Bandopadhyay ‘I’ve hung a large sock near my bed’I love surprises. So, I won’t wish for any particular gift from you. I’ve just hung a large sock near my bed and am eagerly waiting to see what you gift me. Here’s a hint. I love reading books, so books would be nice. And please, bless us with a healthy and peaceful year ahead.
Love you loads,
Anumegha Banerjee‘Please give me some lipstick!’I am running low on lipstick and blush. My makeup box looks empty. So, I want a refill. I have enough dolls and teddy bears. This time, please give me some mascaras, lip colours, highlighters and eyeshadows!
Love you,
Arshiya Mukherjee
