Darshana shares her scary tale on the sets

Nightmare came true for model-turned-actor Darshana Banik. After her dreamtrip in Europe, the actress got back to work and went to North Bengal for the shoot of Rajiv Biswas’s Pratighat. The entire team had put up in a remote hill station when the dreadful incident happened.
“At around 1 am, there was a power failure. It was raining cats and dogs outside and there was no network on my mobile phone.I tried calling the reception but phone lines of the hotel were not working. In that darkness, I thought I would go to my co-actor Priyanka Sarkar’s room. As I opened the door, I realised it was impossible for me to take another step as I couldn’t see the other side of the balcony. I was damn scared. In my nightmares, I had imagined a similar situation. I never thought I would live through it. I stood right next to the door inside my room with my mobile phone’s flashlight on,” she said.
However, it was not all about the scary night. Darshana also had good time with her co-actors, Priyanka, Soham and the director. “I was there between June 24 and 28. We had a good time. We used to chat every single night after the shoot got over. Priyanka and I also got along very well. As both of us are a bit shy, we could relate to each other’s story. Our call time was at 5 am and almost every night we chatted till 2 am. Rajivda used to chase us to go off to bed. Working with him was so much fun. He even cooked chicken and mutton for us,” Darshana added.
