There has been much talk about resurgence in Bengali cinema for a while, but big corporate houses have not really shown much of an interest in handholding Tollywood back to its days of glory. Things are supposed to change what with at least two corporate majors wanting to invest in Bengal now.
Sources say Anjan Dutt is all set to direct a movie that will be funded by a corporate major.

A source says, ���It is a Bengali film titled Ganesh Talkies. It���s a cross-cultural love story. Ganesh Talkies is the name of a theatre house that is run by the protagonist of the movie. The casting has been finalized. Chandan Roy Sanyal and Raima Sen will be playing the lead roles. It will be produced by Anil Ambani���s company. Shooting is expected to begin in December. Talks are on to fund a Ravi Kinagi film too.���
Meanwhile, Subrata Roy has already announced his Bengal plans. Says director Sudeshna Roy, ���Roy has announced that there are 10 films he wants to produce in T���wood. Prosenjit Chatterjee will be supervising it. With two corporates coming to Tollywood, it���s boom time for Bengali cinema.���
