Coldplay tickets for the second Ahmedabad show sell out in a jiffy
Coldplay mania continues to grip India, as tickets for the band's second Ahmedabad show gets sold out within minutes of going live. Following the frenzy over tickets for the first concert on 25th January 2025, which saw an unprecedented rush on 16th November, the iconic British band announced a second date for 26th January. Yet, fans barely had time to rejoice before the second wave of tickets vanished in record time.
The Music of the Spheres world tour’s India leg now features back-to-back performances at the Narendra Modi Stadium, but the extraordinary demand has left many fans empty-handed. Social media is buzzing with complaints, with one exasperated follower lamenting, “You did exactly what you did last time,” referring to the ticketing chaos. Another fan detailed the ordeal: “I was at 19K in the queue and still couldn’t get the tickets. Even if those ahead of me got four tickets each, that still adds up to 80,000. Where are the rest of the tickets again?” A third disappointed fan wrote, “Successfully wasted 3 hours and still didn’t get in.”
Previously, the Coldplay Mumbai shows, scheduled on 18th, 19th, and 21st January 2025, also witnessed a similar mad rush for tickets. Following this, the announcement of a second Ahmedabad show briefly raised hopes, only for tickets to disappear just as quickly.
Fans remain hopeful for the possibility of more dates being added or a last-minute chance to secure a ticket. For now, the scramble for a spot at one of the most anticipated concerts has shown no signs of easing.
