It’s not every day that you share the screen with
Sunny Leone, but when you do, you come across a person full of warmth and life. This is the experience
Richa Sharma had while working with Sunny in the Raajeev Walia’s
Tera Intezaar.
“I play Sunny’s elder sister in this musical, romantic thriller. We shared a special bond both on and off the screen. I remember I was not well when we were shooting in Hyderabad, and she insisted that we reshoot the scene the next day so that I could give my 100%,” Richa said, adding that she was excited and tense about her latest outing.
“I hope the audience will like my performance,” she said.
Apart from Sunny and Richa, the film also stars
Arbaaz Khan and Hanif Nodya. “Arbaaz, too, was very kind. He waited for me the day I was late because of my ill health. It was a pleasure working with these stars,” said Richa. Talking about her character, she added, “I play Rupa, who shares a great rapport with Ronak (Sunny). Rupa lives abroad and Ronak seeks her help in every problem she faces. Then, something forces Rupa to come back to India to help Ronak.”
We ask Richa about her plans to act in Bengali films. “I want to, but directors here think I can’t speak Bangla. The truth is, I speak the language as fluently as any Bengali. My dream is to act in a Bengali film,” said Richa with a smile.
