‘Chupkotha’ official trailer intensifies the mystery behind a child’s disappearance

Directed by Rick Basu, Parno Mittra’s upcoming ‘

Chupkotha

’ revolves around a missing child, a mysterious mobile phone and an old house filled with a lot of dark secrets. The horror-thriller sees Parno as an investigative journalist Shivangi. When carrying out her investigation, she discovers an old phone and then comes a major twist in the story. What happens next forms the crux of the mystery. ‘Chupkotha’ also sees Shataf Figar in a key role. Recently, the makers released the official trailer of the film and it looks every bit intriguing.

A large portion of the film has been shot in Kurseong which made Parno a bit nostalgic as she grew up in the same place, “I still remember my childhood days when I was studying in Dow Hill School and when I was shooting for the film it made me so nostalgic. Although things have changed a lot. The traffic is has increased. Still, this place has that quaint charm I used to enjoy. I was a great trip for me.”
