Chandan Roy Sanyal shoots in Kolkata

Ace actor Chandan Roy Sanyal is in the city. The actor is currently shooting for a film, Deep Six, by Madhuja Mukherjee. Chandan took to the social media to post a couple of photographs. He also wrote, “Deep Six by Ms. Madhuja Mukherjee with the wonderful Tillotama Shome and Sumeet Thakur . Shot by ace cameraman Mr Avik Mukhopadhyay who shot the delicious October by Mr Shoojit Sircar last.Monsoon In Calcutta (sic).”
Chandan has done five Bengali films, including Mahanagar@Kolkata. He was nominated for Best Actor at 19th Annual New York Indian Film Festival for his film, The Flight. Besides, he has been a part of many path-breaking roles, including Sanjay Gupta’s Jazbaa and Nandita Das’s Manto, in which he essayed the character of Manto’s dear friend. His earlier filmography includes films like Rang De Basanti, Kaminey, F. A. L. T. U, D-Day, Jab Harry Met Sejal and Chef to name a few. He was also a part of the film Island City, which went to the Venice Film Festival. He will be next seen in the film Jabariya Jodi along with Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra.
