The actor-MP is controversy’s favourite child and she gets scrutinized for almost every social media post of her. This time it was Nusrat’s Durga Puja picture. The ‘Dictionary’ actor was criticized for wearing sindoor and doing Puja special shoot appearing as Maa Durga. However, these negative remarks didn’t stop Nusrat from enjoying her Durga Puja with Yash and son Yishaan with full gusto. And, she kept on sharing pictures from her Durga Puja celebration almost every day.

Paoli Dam’s festive wardrobe is filled with vibrant sarees and each day she wished everyone happy Durga Puja wearing some gorgeous sarees. Her Puja porikroma photos also went viral. However, there were some who didn’t spare her and started trolling her for the lean figure. Despite this body-shaming Paoli didn’t let these hypocrisies ruin her Puja celebration. She even shared videos and pictures from her sindoor khela and Dhunuchi Naach and we simply loved her indomitable spirit.

Fans had high hopes for Dev’s ‘Kacher Manuch’ which was one of the top Puja releases this year, especially the fact that the film saw Dev and Prosenjit Chatterjee reuniting after a long time. However, ‘Kacher Manuch’ failed to live up to expectations at the box office and this didn’t go well with netizens. A certain portion of social media heavily criticized the makers for releasing such a film with a depressing subject during Durga Puja. Dev, also being the producer of the film, couldn’t escape the heat.

For we stand in solidarity with Kamaleshwar Mukherjee,” that’s what the National Award-winning filmmaker wrote on twitter extending her support to filmmaker Kamaleswar Mukherjee who was arrested while taking part in a protest in South Kolkata after one book stall was vandalized. However, many started trolling Aparna Sen for raising voice on selective occasions and issues. Some even questioned why she’s silent on the SSC scam issue.

Along with many other actresses, Raima Sen too took part in the Sindoor Khela event of a puja pandal during Bijaya Dashami this year. She also shared some pictures from the event on her social media handle but little did she know it will lead to online bullying. What irked some hypocrites is there was sindoor on Raima’s forehead. The dash of sindoor on a bride's forehead is her holiest mark as she begins her journey as a bride, for the rest of her life. Some started questioning since Raima is unmarried why she applied sindoor on her forehead.
