‘Byomkesh O Durgo Rahashya’: Dev shares new update, reveals BIG surprise in store!

Much has been discussed about his upcoming Byomkesh film. More than the film, Dev and Srijit Mukherji’s cold war regarding the next Byomkesh Bakshi adaptation has grabbed most of the headlines. Whether it’s the casting, exact location, or unpleasant incidents during shooting – that’s what grabbed everyone’s attention.
And now, Dev and Birsa Dasgupta have just completed the shooting of their much-anticipated ‘Byomkesh O Durgo Rahashya’.There were four back-to-back outdoor schedules and all were grueling to say the least, especially in the extreme summer heat.
On Sunday, Dev shared a series of pictures and videos from the set to announce the wrap-up news. The post had a BTS picture of Dev as Byomkesh and it was enough to make his fans all too excited. Fans got to see a few glimpses from the wrap-up party as well.
This is not the first time Dev has shared pictures from the set. Ever since the shoot started he did share some candid snapshots from the shooting. He had earlier introduced Rukmini Maitra as Satyabati and Ambarish Bhattacharya as Ajit, and then dropped fun-filled videos and pictures in between the busy schedules. Not only Dev but Rukmini Maitra also shared her new look as Satyabati. In the photo, Satyabati can be seen with a binocular in her hand as she looks through the binocular.

Along with the wrap-up news, the Tollywood star also announced that ‘Byomkesh O Durgo Rahashya’ will release in theatres on August 11.

Interestingly, Srijit Mukherji on Sunday also completed the shooting of his Byomkesh Bakshi web series, based on the same story of ‘Durgo Rahashya. In his web series, Anirban Bhattacharya plays the iconic sleuth, while Sohini Sarkar will be seen as Satyabati, and Rahul Banerjee will play Ajit. Interestingly, Srjit’s series is expected to have its OTT premiere on the same date Dev’s film ‘Byomkesh O Durgo Rahashya’ is releasing in theatres.
