Paoli will be seen as Bishu Pal’s partner who plays Droupadi in their theatre troupe and the actor is literally enjoying the shoot days. Her latest Instagram entry is proof of that. Paoli took to her Instagram handle to share the first look of her character from ‘Byomkesh Hotyamancho’ and it’s intense, to say the least. Check out the post here:

Speaking about Paoli, Arindam had earlier shared, “Paoli is a director’s actor. She is inquisitive about her character and what’s more commendable is her incredible hunger to perform.”

Not only has Paoli played key roles in successful big banner movies but has also appeared in smaller films with relatively new talented filmmakers. Known for portraying strong characters on screen, the actress has managed to carve a niche of her own in an industry where most of the actresses end up as the glam quotient of a big-budget film.

Apart from ‘Byomkesh Hotyamancho’, Paoli has two more Bengali films in the pipeline, Kaushik Ganguly’s ‘Palan’ and director duo Leena Ganguly-Saibal Banerjee’s ‘Khelaghar’.

Coming back to the Byomkesh film, the detective thriller will see Abir reprising his Byomkesh character while Sohini Sarkar plays his wife Satyabati. Suhotra Mukherjee is the new Ajit, Byomkesh’s friend and companion, in the upcoming detective thriller. The plot, set in the tumultuous Naxalite uprising in Bengal in 1971, sees Byomkesh Bakshi getting involved in a story of vengeance when he decides to attend a play at the theatre and becomes witness to a crime unfolding on the center stage.
