The unit of Bye Bye Bangkok has just returned from its 10-day Bangkok and Pattaya trip. Talking about the experience, director Aniket Chattopadhyay says, We had a blast out there. Its monsoons in Bangkok, but luckily for us, the rains never played spoilsport. The sun shone down on us bright and clear and the shooting went on uninterrupted. Just imagine, the day we called it a wrap, the skies opened up and it was pouring cats and dogs. The film-maker vouches for the smooth shooting schedule there.
There was never a crowd while we were shooting. We could have canned the shots in Andamans or Goa, but there, I would have had to waste precious shooting time dispelling the crowds. Moreover, we required foreigners for certain scenes. And they were more than willing to share screen space with the cast, adds Aniket, signing off. Except me, everyone partied late night. Sadly for me, I had to excuse myself since I had to advance the next days shoot
