Buddhadeb Dasgupta's birthday plans

Veteran director Buddhadeb Dasgupta turns a year older today. The National-Award winning director has published several works of poetry including Govir Araley, Coffin Kimba, Suitcase, Himjog, Chhaata Kahini, Roboter Gaan, Sreshtha Kabita, and a lot more.
When we asked about his

birthday

plans, he said, “I am having a

relaxed

birthday. I woke up in the morning and wrote a part of a script. My daughter has come over to my place. I had a heavy breakfast of

dalia

, upma and fruits and hence had to skip lunch. Some friends and relatives will come over at night to our place and I'm looking forward to the adda. My daughter will be making methi chicken at night so, dinner to be will be scrumptious.” He added, “I am working on a new film. I have started writing it too. The

film

will revolve around a journalist.”
