Arnab Paul’s upcoming ‘Brishti Tomakey Dilam’ is a psychological thriller featuring Jaya Ahsan,

Chakraborty, Subrat Dutta,
Rajatava Dutta, Rajesh Sharma and
Badsha Maitra
in the lead. The music of the film is by
Debojyoti Mishra. A large portion of the film has been shot in Kolkata and Bindu, a place close to the West Bengal-Bhutan border. If all goes according to plan, the film will release in November.
Produced by Ravi Shekhar Singh, ‘Brishti Tomakey Dilam’ is Arnab Paul’s first film as a director and he is quite convinced that the audience will get to see an intense psychological thriller. “Jaya Ahsan plays Brishti, a young woman, who wishes to lead a normal life full of happiness. But the psychological impact on her subconscious mind and a split personality disorder don’t allow her to do so. She is obsessed with the thought that someone wants to kill her. What happens in her life, how she deals with her problem, that’s what the film is all about,” the director revealed.
Arnab Paul is also delighted to have Jaya Ahsan in his film, “She is a great actress and so humble. She slips into her character with ease adding her own flavours of expertise.”
Apart from Jaya’s character Brishti, Chiranjit Chakraborty will be seen as a psychiatrist Dr. Subrata Sanyal. While Subrat Dutta plays a special investigating officer, Rajatava Dutta essays his assistant’s role. Badsha Maitra will be seen as Brishti’s love interest in the film.
