Bratya's bald act
It's not every day that you see a Bengal mantri in saffron robes. But state education minister Bratya Basu did just that ' as well as shave his head for Aniket Chattopadhyay's Kapurush O Mahapurush.
However, the minister, who started shooting for the sadhu's role on Wednesday, didn't see anything wrong with what he'd done. 'Apart from being a minister, I'm also an actor and a dramatist.
Aniket too was very happy with the day's shoot. 'Bratya and I have numerous disagreements over our political positions. But we are good friends and I'm a great admirer of his acting. So it is wonderful to have him in my film.' What next for the minister? 'No more movies for two months. But I plan to direct a play and a film next year,' he says.
