Bony’s next is a learning experience for the actor

Actor Bony Sengupta says his next film, Jaanbaaz, has been an excellent learning experience for him. Though it was extremely difficult to shoot in the hot weather, the unit managed to pull off the job quite efficiently.
Bony said this is the first time he has worked with his father, Anup Sengupta, which gave him a change to learnt quite a few things.“Every now and then, he would correct me if I was doing something wrong. While other directors would simply tell me how to do things the correct way, my father made sure I knew where I was going wrong,” he added.
Bony said he was quite tense before the shoot because he thought he might be scolded by his father. “When I assisted my father, he used to be very grumpy and scolded people left and right. But this time he was much more easy going and calm,” he added.
Besides Bonny, the action-packed commercial film features Kaushani, Sudip Mukherjee and Kanchan Mullick, among others. It has been shot in Jharkhand’s Nirsa apart from Kolkata. The story is based on a boy who gets involved with coal mafias and becomes part of many anti-social activities. Soon he realises his mistake and the story unfolds. It took the team almost eight days to complete the shoot in Nirsa, which is in a coal belt and thus, extremely hot. “Working in that heat was very difficult. But somehow, we completed the shoot,” Bony signed off.
