Mukherjee in a film titled Jaan Baaz. The film went on the floors today. “I was waiting for years to do a film with baba. It is finally happening and I couldn’t have been happier. It is an action-romance film. I play a guy who is the blue-eyed boy of a mafia in a coal mine. Somehow, this guy manages to come to Kolkata and meets a girl, played by Koushani. Both fall in love but later, this guy realises that Koushani is a police inspector. The film has lot of twists and turns that take the story forward. The script is very strong and I’m certain that the audience will not be able to guess what will happen next. I am shooting with

da (Mukherjee) today. He plays the mafia in this film. From tomorrow, Koushani will join the shoot,” said the actor.

How is it shooting with his father, we ask Bonny. “It feels great. Not many know that Baba refers to everyone as ‘apni’ on the sets and never calls anyone by name. He always adds ‘babu or ‘da’ with the name. On the sets, he says, ‘Bonny babu, shot is ready or Bonny da it’s lunch break now.’ It is so embarrassing. And with baba around, I can’t eat junk food. I have to have chicken stew and brown bread for lunch and then a bowl of fruits, while I’m craving for mutton and rice,” shared Bonny.

“Working with Koushani is fun as we can spend some quality time together. It doesn’t come without fights though!” said the actor.
