Prosenjit Chatterjee was recently seen pleading with Rudranil Ghosh in Bolpur! Sweat not, there was no tiff between the two. In character, the actors were caught shooting for Gaurav Pandey���s Hanuman.com.
As part of the sequence, Anjaniputra Sen Sharma (Prosenjit) was trying to convince Panchu (Rudranil), a cable operator, to restore his connection, in order to avoid wife Tanu���s (Mousumi) wrath.���I was aware of the film right from the scripting stage. Then, one fine day, Gaurav called up to say ��� toke Panchur role ta korte hobe. I was clueless. Despite its short screen time, the role is integral to the plot and to me, what matters is quality work. While Bumbada is marvellous as the protagonist, Gaurav is a super-cool director,��� said Rudranil.
An out-and-out comic character, Panchu is calculative and understands only the language of currency. ���The character has loads of shades, which tempted me to sign on the dotted line. There was a scene where Anjaniputra literally drags me to his house so that I restore his cable line. But Panchu refuses to budge. Only after Anjaniputra promises to pay him the next morning, does he relent. While coming out, his eyes get fixed on Anjaniputra���s wrist watch. How cleverly Panchu stakes claim to it is hilarious,��� explained the actor.
The scene is also crucial since it brings about a twist when Panchu sees a computer in Anjaniputra���s room. ���It is he who enlightens Anjaniputra on internet and its usage,��� Rudranil said, adding, ���When Anjaniputra went missing, Panchu helped Tanu look for him. This shows he has his heart in place.���
