Biswanath Basu is keeping busy

Biswanath Basu is playing Poltu in the serial Mayurponkhi, which is actually his nickname in real life. “For the first time, I am playing a character who has my nickname. Poltu is a nice guy whose only aim in life is to make his family happy. So, I am enjoying every bit of it as real Poltu is like that too,” said the actor, who shot with Rajpal Yadav for Raj Mukherjee’s film.“I am shooting with Victor Banerjee, Jhilik and Soham for Subrata Haldar’s Ami Sudhu Tor Holam. Then there is Anindya Sarkar’s film Triangle, where I am sharing the screen along with Kaushik Sen,” said the actor. He added, “I am also shooting for Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s short film, Hunger Artist, along with Ritwick Chakraborty. It is about a man and how he survives without food for a reality show.”
