Birthday boy Ranojoy is having a blast

Actor Ranojoy, who turned a year younger today, was touched by the surprise party organised by Sohini Sarkar at a city restropub last night. “She made sure all my close friends are part of the celebration and we had a blast. Today, I had lunch with my parents. Ma prepared five types of vegetable fries and payesh. A few of my friends came over to my place in the evening and we’re having a house party,” the birthday boy said, adding, “This day last year was the Janata Curfew day, so I couldn’t celebrate my birthday.That’s why Sohini is ensuring that I celebrate my birthday in a gala way. She has also gifted me a watch.”
Any birthday resolutions, we ask the actor? “No resolutions, as I can’t keep any. My only aim is to be a better human being,” said Ranojoy with a smile.
On the work front, Ranojoy has just completed shooting for Indrani Chakrabarti’s Chhaad, where Paoli and Rahul play the lead. “Rahul plays Paoli’s husband in the film, while I am the special person in her life,” said the actor.
