Birsa to start shooting a new thriller, Psycho

Birsa Dasgupta is all set to shoot for his next, Psycho. The film starring Anirban Bhattacharya, Anirban Chakraborty, Chandreyee Ghosh and Payel Dey is a psychological thriller as the name suggests.

"More than being an edge-of-the-seat thriller, I would say it is a slow burn. It will have no music but there will be a background score, which I intend to keep natural. The actors will have a lot of scope for expressing themselves.At times, there are dialogues and at times scenes requiring silence. The genres are drama and suspense," said Birsa.
In the cameo, there are Debesh Chattopadhyay, Soumya Sengputa and Madhurima Ghosh besides a host of actors debuting. "I will start shooting in February. I haven't thought of a release date yet. Maybe my producers will be able to say. But we are looking to wrap up soon and hope for a Poila Boishak release," shared Birsa.
