It was festivities galore on national television the last couple of days, what with channels cashing in on
Durga Puja,
Navratri and
Dussehra celebrations all over the country. The
Bigg Boss house, albeit, cut off from the rest of the world in all other ways, made time for some merry-making pure Bengali style, complete with traditional Bong attire,
aarti,
dunuchi dance et al.
Bigg Boss decided to let the inmates indulge in the festive flavours by announcing an evening of puja, aarti and traditional rituals.
The housemates celebrated the last day of Durga Puja or Dussehra sporting traditional
laal paar sada saris and kurtas sent in by Bigg Boss. Everybody from Jannat and Jahannum got together in the garden area and made arrangements for puja and
aarti. The contestants also performed an enthusiastic
dhunuchi dance. But towards the end of the evening, some of the housemates found it hard to contain their emotions and became nostalgic.
Pratyusha, Tanishaa and Armaan were seen talking about their families. Tanishaa, whose father passed away 4 years back, was seen talking about him and wondering how he would have loved to see her in a traditional Bengali sari.
