Sandip Chaudhuri
’s upcoming ‘
Bidrohini
’.
“I didn’t have the chance to work with Anjan Chaudhuri. Now, I want to work with his son Sandip Chaudhuri to make it up and ‘Bidrohini’ has a strong message. It’s a powerful movie in context of today’s society. This film will portray a woman’s fight against injustice, both at home and in the society,” said Rituparna while giving a shot in a Golf Green slam area.
In ‘Bidrohini’ Rituparna will be seen as an IPS officer who is also seeking justice for her elder sister who was raped once. The upcoming thriller also stars
Rishi Kaushick
, Anindo Sarkar, Santana Basu, Arunima Sen, Sonali Chowdhury and others. The plot of ‘Bidrohini’ weaves around Kiran (Rituparna) who raises her voice against the mental and physical torture once inflicted upon her sister.
The pretty actress was last seen in
Srijit Mukherji’s January release ‘
Shah Jahan Regency
’ in a cameo.
