Bhaswar organises baby shower for friend Sonalee

Bhaswar Chatterjee recently posted a picture on social media, where one can see him with actress Sonalee Chaudhuri. Commenting below, the actor wrote: Actress and buddy Sonalee Chaudhuri is expecting her first child, so thought of gifting her items she likes most (mane oi shaad khawanor moto). We have come a long way since 1998 when I first faced the camera with her and our friendship has gone stronger day by day.Best wishes to her. Stay healthy n fit (sic).
We had already reported that Sonalee and her husband Rajat Ghosh Dastidar are expecting their first child by the end of May or in early June. Sonalee told us, “It is the best feeling in the world where you know a child is growing inside you with each passing day. All I want is a healthy baby and I am waiting for him/her to arrive in this world. Though we are going through a difficult time, I am still trying to enjoy each moment as that would be good both for me and the child.”
Bhaswar, who debuted with Sonalee in the serial Kanakanjali, 23 years back, said, “I was so happy when I heard the good news. Sonalee loves sweets and she told me that her cravings for sweets have doubled during pregnancy. So, I decided to take 15 kinds of sweets for her and she was delighted. It was a sort of baby shower that I had arranged for her and she loved it,” said Bhaswar.
On World Health Day recently, the actor had posted a picture with his trainer on social media. Talking about it, Bhaswar said, “I am not a health freak but I try to exercise regularly to stay fit. We are passing through a difficult time and staying healthy now is very important.”
