As we continue to fight the second wave of coronavirus pandemic despite a crippling medical infrastructure, many Tollywood celebs are testing positive almost every day. However, complete isolation, a high-protein diet, multivitamins, exercise and ample rest have helped many of them recuperate from COVID.
For instance, industry’s senior actor Bharat Kaul says one has to look after his/her mental and physical health apart from following a nutritious diet.

The popular actor had tested COVID positive on March 29. Bharat resumed work on April 11 after recovering. In an exclusive chat with ETimes, the veteran actor shared his experience: “After catching a fever I got myself tested and found out that I was COVID positive. My wife and mother, too, got infected at the same time.”
Here are the measures Bharat Kaul followed on his road to recovery: “I had loads of citrus fruits like oranges and sweet lemons as prescribed by my doctor and I am still continuing to have it. Also, a high-protein diet, which included loads of fish, chicken and eggs is essential. Having small meals at regular intervals helps a lot. Having raw turmeric and ginger is a must in this period to boost your immunity. Another important thing to remember is mental health. Reading good books, listening to light music soothes the mind. Talking to friends acts as a stress buster. Try to remain positive and watch light-hearted shows. Breathing and freehand exercises helped me a lot,” adds Bharat Kaul.
