Bengali films in Pondicherry International Film Festival
At least two Bengali films made it to the inaugural edition of the Pondicherry International Film Festival 2018 that screened 100 films over three days starting September 24. While Soukarya Ghoshal’s Rainbow Jelly was the curtain raiser for the festival and had a private screening, Pratim D Gupta’s Ahare Mon will be shown today.

PIFF is supported by the Puducherry Tourism Department, and actor Adil Hussain has been roped in as the mentor.

The latter’s Mukti Bhavan has also been included as part of the festival. Soukarya, who is happy about Rainbow Jelly’s run in the festival circuit, took to social media to announce the news.
