Bengali actor Soham Majumdar goes international with ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny'

Soham Majumdar is climbing up the ladder of his decorated acting career. The Bengali actor, who juggles his time between Mumbai and Kolkata, is ready for his international debut. Soham has worked in the much-awaited series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, which belongs to the internationally acclaimed ‘Citadel’ universe. The trailer for ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ is out now, and Soham has made a delightful appearance in the trailer.

The ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ trailer features Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the protagonists of the Indian installment of the ‘Citadel’ universe that kicked off with the Priyanka Chopra Jonas starrer series. As per the timeline, ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ is set before the period of ‘Citadel’ itself, as the former one shows Nadia as a kid. Nadia, the character played by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, is the protagonist of ‘Citadel’. Whereas, in ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, Samantha’s character plays mother to Nadia. In the upcoming series, Samantha plays a struggling actress named Honey, and Varun is a stuntman named Bunny. Honey and Bunny’s pasts are intertwined, and when they are put in an action-packed setting, they try to protect their young daughter Nadia. The trailer ends with Nadia saying, “Everyone is dying or getting killed. I am still a kid, you know." Viewers are waiting eagerly for this Raj and DK creation infused with a good mix of action, humor, and kickass punch lines. Soham, who is believed to be seen in a pivotal role, made an appearance in the trailer. However, not much about his character has been given away in the trailer of the series.

Soham Majumdar, a Bengali lad, has been making splashes with his sartorial choices in his acting career for quite some time. Soham, who has worked in projects like ‘Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti’, ‘Drishtikone’, ‘Tarokar Mrityu', and ‘Dilkhush’, made his Bollywood debut with the blockbuster film ‘Kabir Singh’ starring Shahid Kapoor. Soham recently worked in ‘Dukaan’ as well. ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ is going to be a noteworthy feather to his cap.

On the romantic front, Soham has been sparking romance rumors with Bengali actress Solanki Roy for the past few years. The Bengali actress, who married her school friend in 2018, moved to New Zealand. But the marriage was short-lived, and they got divorced in 2023. Solanki has been linked with Soham ever since. However, both of them have refrained from discussing their personal lives on public forums and haven’t yet confirmed their romance.
