Apart from being an actor by profession, Vikram is a passionate traveler. When not working in the chaos of ‘lights, camera, action’, Vikram likes to take out his own vehicle and hit the road that leads him to the mountains. After back-to-back shoots and the promotional activities of ‘Pariah’, Vikram is now planning to take a much-needed break. The ‘Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E’ actor tells ETimes, that he is yet to zero down on a location, but he is going back to the mountains before he reports back to the set. Vikram says, “I have grown up traveling with my parents, especially with my father. My father imbued the love for traveling in me. I have very fond memories of road trips since I was a kid. Traveling has now become my way of life. The kind of hectic life we lead in the city, I think I need to come back to the mountains once in a while to seek peace.” Although he has not decided yet which way to go, Vikram predicts that he will either head to Himachal Pradesh or to Sikkim in a few days.

A week back, Vikram, along with the team of ‘Pariah’ celebrated 25 days of the film. Despite some hiccups initially, ‘Pariah’ soared high in the box office. According to Vikram, “the concept of the film is so unique and yet so personal, with a punch of action in it. I think the cause of the film appealed to the audience and struck a chord. I am so grateful for all the love they have showered on our film.” What’s next on the cards? The ‘Shesh Pata’ actor already has three releases lined up this year. One with Madhumita Sarcarand Darshana Banik (Ke Prothom Kachhe Eshechhi), one with Sohini Sarkar (Omorshongi), and one with none other than Swastika Mukherjee. Apart from these releases, Vikram will start shooting for his next from April this year.
