Bappaditya's Nayika Sangbad

Uttam Kumar and Anjana Bhowmick starrer Nayika Sangbad in 1967 was regarded as one of the finest comedies. And now Bappaditya Bandopadhyay is directing Nayika Sangbad which revolves around disappearance of a heroine and is not a comedy at all. Arunima Ghosh has been cast in the role of the heroine. Other cast includes Priyanka Sarkar, Samadarshi Dutta and Locket Chatterjee. "The film is about what happens when a heroine disappears from Tollywood and how people start talking about her.The statememts of her co-stars, directors and productions bring a contradictory image of the heroine," said Arunima.
