'Banshiwala' bagged Gold Kahuna award

Anjan Das��������� ���������Banshiwala��������� starring Shayan Munshi, Paoli, Soumitra Chatterjee and Kaushik Sen, among others, has bagged the muchcoveted Gold Kahuna award in the Feature Films category at the Honolulu Film Awards.
���������It���������s a great feeling to be appreciated by an international jury. The film was a labour of love and it feels great to know that our efforts have been liked.Ours was the only Indian film to receive the Gold Kahuna this year. I���������m in talks with my producers, Rupa Nag and Abhijit Nag, to take our film to other international film festivals,��������� said Das. Another Indian movie, ���������Mumbai Charlie���������, directed by Deepak Verma, has bagged the Silver Lei Award at the same Award���������s ceremony.
