Ayan Chakraborti celebrates birthday in Darjeeling

Ayan Chakraborti had a blast on his birthday. The director, who is busy shooting in north Bengal, was seen enjoying the evening on Facebook posts.

“The entire unit, including, Sohini Sarkar, Madhumita Chakraborty, Mainak Banerjee, Ronojoy Bishnu, Dolon Roy, Amitabha Mukherjee and others, ganged up in my room at the middle of the night. Sohini, Ronojoy and Mainak got the cake and we all partied all night,” Ayan told us.

on Thursday and we got back to Darjeeling at around 10 pm. As soon as it was midnight, I started getting wishes from them,” he said.

But that doesn’t mean that they had any rest the next morning. “On Friday, we started shooting at 6 am. We are shooting a rock show scene at a very famous breakfast joint in Darjeeling near mall,” Ayan revealed.

Ayan has also got a lot of gifts on his birthday. “As I said, Sohini, Mainak and Ranajoy brought me the cake. Madhumita gave me a perfume. Besides, since I write very often, she also gifted me a two pens and a beautiful writing pad. I am definitely going to use it well. Dolon, on the other hand, gave me a hipflask and that will be of use too. Overall, it is a birthday away from home and I will remember this one,” he said with a smile.

Meanwhile, Ayan posted a childhood photograph with his mother on Facebook to mark his birthday.
