North Bengal
, stars
Sayantani Guhathakurta,
Sahil Phull,
Anusha Viswanathan and
Ishan Mazumder in the lead.
While Sunanda is a lonely housewife who is spending her days waiting for her husband, Diya, sister-in-law of Sunanda, who lost her walking capacity as well as her parents in an accident is completely dependent on Sunanda and considers Sunanda as her mother. Meanwhile, Sahil is an army officer who is out of contact with his family for a long time while his family is spending time waiting for his return. Lastly, Som is a physician and a childhood friend of Sahil who takes care of Sahil’s wife and sister.
“The story revolves around four characters whose lives are intertwined through hope, despair, love and tragedy but most importantly, an endless wait and an all-important choice that may alter everything they’ve ever understood about their lives,” shared Sayantani who plays Sunanda in the film.
Ranojoy Bhattacharya has scored the music and
Iman Chakraborty has rendered her voice for one song. Subhadeep Naskar is the DOP and Anirban Maity has edited the film.
