Ashare Goppo has been accused of being copied from a story by another writer
Ashare Goppo got out of the chit fund trouble only to get embroiled in another. This time it is accused of copying from a story by another writer who intends to make a film on his story. ���Sachet Saraf has complained to the (producers section) EIMPA���s chairman Biplab Chakraborty that the story is registered in his name and it is his concept and that there is an uncanny resemblance to the storyline of Arindam Chakraborty���s Ashare Goppo,��� shared producer Rana Sarkar, who bailed out the film recently by buying it, thus paving the way for its release.The producer of Ashare Goppo refuted the claim saying, ���It is a wrong allegation. Sachet has copied the concept from the telefilm that Arindam had made on the subject earlier. The concept was further developed by Imran Ali and turned into the film.���
