Arunima Ghosh on working with Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s Ganodebota

Arunima Ghosh completed shooting for Arindam Sil’s web series titled Unishe April on Sunday. The actor is also part of Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s web series Ganodebota where Chanchal Chowdhury plays the male lead. Is she concentrating more on OTT projects than films? “Well, my priority will always be films. But in both these web series I play interesting characters, so I signed on the dotted lines. Added to that for the past two-three years interesting works are being made in the OTT space,” said the actress.

Talking about her character in Ganodebata, Arunima shared, “This is my second project with Kamal da and I love to work with him as there is so much to learn from a director like him. I play a prostitute in this web series who comes from a village. So, her body language and diction have to change accordingly, and I have started working on it. I remember when I first got an offer to play a prostitute on screen in 2004-2005, I was so jittery. But now I love to experiment with my roles. I am also looking forward to share the screen space with Chanchal da, one of the most talented actors of today.”

In Unishe April Arunima plays the character of Nandini Sen, a successful actress.
