“The relationship is deep and intense. What I have realized is getting a genuine friend is quite difficult. In fact, so many of us spend our entire life without the company of a true friend,” shares Arpita who plays Bonnie, a dentist by profession and married to one of her school friends, Arun (

Abi Chatterjee

). As the film progresses we get to see where their marriage stands after 20 years.

Since the film is about a reunion of college friends we asked the actor whether she has attended any school or college reunion ever. Interestingly, the seasoned actor says she has never attended any such reunions.

“Frankly speaking I don’t have any contact with any of my school or college friends now. In fact, that phase has no existence for me now. But I don’t have any regret because I prefer to look forward and accept life as it moves on. Let’s accept the way things are working and move on with whatever I have right now,” says Arpita adding that she loved the script instantly for its simple and spontaneous storyline.

When asked how she figures out who’s a real friend and who’s fake, Arpita reveals she has this tendency to trust people easily and she hasn’t been wrong in identifying genuine friends most of the time, “I have always been a trusting person and for me, it’s a gift. Also, I feel happy that I haven’t lost trust in people’s goodness.”
