We all try to do a lot of research on our
diet
plans in order to stay healthy. But according to
Arjun Chakrabarty, who is known to be a fitness enthusiast, it is important to follow a regime that suits your lifestyle. “We do a lot of research on what kind of diet plan we need to follow. But I think it is important to know yourself and choose a plan that is suitable for your lifestyle,” said the actor.
Talking about his own dietary practice, he said: “I try to maintain a high-protein diet. That suits me. I am not a foodie and hence it is a relief. My calorie gets controlled automatically. I think we should not eat too much. Naturally, I hydrate myself more during summer. But at least one day, I have to gorge on aam, this season.”
Giving a sneak-peek into his workout regimen, the actor said: “From weight training to freehands - I try to do a mix and match of workouts. There is an array of exercises you can choose from. Exercise is surely important.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun lucky will next be seen in ‘Avijatrik’ as the iconic character Apu and he feels lucky to be a part of the film. “Hats off to the meticulously researched script, make-up, production design and costumes. These departments made the performers’ jobs easy.
Avijatrik
takes off right where
Apur Sansar
ended and we know how timeless these films are. So we just had to be honest to
Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay
’s novel. There was never going to be an attempt to make it fit into a 21st century mould. Old stories and their emotions are never stuck in time. We always feel the way previous generations felt,” said Arjun who is also excited to share the screen with his father
Sabyasachi Chakraborty in the film for the first time.
