Arindom in a spot after airlines cancels international flights

Airways cancelled all long-haul international flights, it inconvenienced several travellers to and from Kolkata. Among them was composer Arindom Chatterjee. He was away in Toronto with his brother for the past two and a half months and returned to Kolkata today. “I received a mail from the airlines that cancelled the flight. At the last minute, I had to buy a return ticket to Kolkata and I had no clue that this was coming,” he said. Arindom, who had several releases last year, is happy to be back. , received the Best Album award at a music awards recently. Every time, I am nominated for an award, I miss out a chance to be there for some reason or other,” he said. Arindom also lost out on a few projects because of his long stay abroad. “I wouldn’t say that I was not missing work. I also had to let go of a few important projects, but now that I am back, I will make up for the lost time,” he said. Arindom is in talks to compose for a film starring Yash in the lead. This is not the first time that he will score for the actor. “But nothing has been finalised as yet,” he said. Upon returning home, Arindom savoured a lunch of rice and keema and said he was loving every bit of it.
