Aparajita Ghosh makes a lockdown short film with friends

Aparajita Ghosh

has teamed up with her associate

Sharanya

and made a short film, Earth Analog, during the

lockdown

period. The sound of the short has been designed by

Nabarun Bose

, who has also composed the background score.


“Sharanya and I planned suddenly. I have taken the shots — something that I do not do often. I met with an accident recently. I had to go to hospital and had to visit there to dress my wound regularly. I used to shoot during the journey. Sharanya did the editing. Nabarun independently composed the music and then we worked together to finetune it. We wanted to portray the unsettling atmosphere of this lockdown through soothing moments,” Aparajita said.


She is also grateful to her friends Adolf D’Souza, the colorist who worked from Mumbai, and Jaya, who did the subtitles. “It is a joint experiment with friends. We are pretty happy making this,” the director said.
