Aparajita Auddy plays a zamindar’s wife in ‘Rosogolla’

is all geared up for her two Puja releases – ‘Kishore Kumar Junior’ and ‘Manojder Adbhut Bari’, she has another interesting role to play in talented filmmaker Pavel’s ‘Rosogolla’ which will release on December 21. It’s a biopic based on the life of Nabin Chandra Das, the inventor of the Bengali delicacy

Elaborating on her upcoming projects, Aparajita revealed she will play a zamindar’s wife in ‘Rosogolla’. “I am a zaminder’s wife in Pavel’s film. She helps Nabin Chandra Das with the capital needed to set up his business. People will see a completely different accent from me and the character is also a bit different,” said the popular actress.

While Kaushik Ganguly’s son Ujaan will play Nabin, Abantika essays Nabin’s better half Khirodmoni Debi. The film will capture the journey of Nabin Chandra Das, from a humble background to a business tycoon.

Apart from ‘Rosogolla’, Aparajita has two more films - Mainak Bhaumik’s ‘Generation Ami’ and Kaushik Ganguly’s ‘Jesthyo Putro’ along with a new web series.
