Anusha Viswanathan
is happy that it’s a
working birthday
for her today. When asked about it, the actress said, “Yesterday all my close friends came over to my place to ring in my birthday. We had
mutton biryani
and chicken chaap for dinner as that’s my favourite food. Ma (Madhumanti Maitra) got two cakes — one was strawberry and the other one was of chocolate flavour. So, we all had a great adda over food last night. Today, I will start shooting for
Poroma Neotia
’s debut film
Arjun: The War Within
. I play a glamorous electric guitarist in this musical. There can’t be any better birthday gift than this! To get into the skin of the character, I borrowed an electric guitar from my friend and learnt how to play it too.”
Anusha loves the payesh that her grandmother makes on her birthday. “I look forward to having the payesh made by dida and she feeds me too. Ma is making mutton for lunch. The dinner programme is still uncertain as it depends on when my shoot will get over. But I am sure my parents and friends will plan something special for me. Ma has gifted me a laptop, while baba is yet to give me my birthday gift,” said the birthday girl.
What are her birthday resolutions, we ask… “To be a better human being and to do more meaningful films. The pandemic has taught us to value relationships, so I try to actively put in that effort to make all bonds special,” said the actress who plays a pivotal role in her father Ashoke Viswanathan’s film, which will start from March-end.
