‘Anusandhan’ trailer: The thriller has suspense written all over it

The trailer of Kamaleswar Mukherjee’s upcoming film ‘Anusandhan’ is out now and it has dollops of suspense promising an intense crime thriller.
The trailer starts with Indra Chakraborty (Saswata Chatterjee) going on a business trip to Birmingham during Durga Puja. He gets injured in a car accident on a stormy night in Birmingham and finds shelter in an old mansion owned by a family of lawyers.
The mystery deepens as Indra gets a mysterious welcome from one of the family members (Joydeep Mukherjee) who informs him the house never welcomes guests and even if the family does so, strangers become more involved with the family members.The eerie family has a judge (Churni Ganguly), a public prosecutor (Riddhi Sen), a defense counsel (Priyanka Mondal) and a jailor (Mukherjee), who proposes to play a game.
Chakraborty, baffled by this welcome, gets frustrated but later accepts his character of a victim in a mock trial. However, his character eventually discovers himself being convicted as the perpetrator of a 'crime' and feels threatened after he confesses it. Sounds interesting right?
The intense trailer also promises some powerful performances by Saswata Chatterjee and Riddhi Sen, who looks like will transform this dialogue-heavy film quite engaging and gripping.
