‘Guldasta’ actor
Anuradha Mukherjee is on a roll. Anuradha who will be seen as one of the leads in Indrasis Acharya’s upcoming film ‘Mayabhoy’ is also playing a crucial role in a Hindi film based on Kanpur-based gangster Vikas Dubey’s life. Titled ‘Hanak’ and being directed by Manish Varssalya, the thriller is based on author Mridul Kapil’s book ‘Main Kanpur Wala’.
While popular TV actor Manish Goyal plays the titular role of Vikas Dubey, Anuradha has been roped in to play the gangster’s wife Richa.
The camera has already started rolling for the thriller, being produced by Mohaan Nadar Ketki pandit Mehta and Sarkar Production. “I recently came back from the Bhopal schedule. Our location was a remote village in Bhopal and it was an amazing experience to work with the team. My first schedule is complete. I will again join the team after December 25. It’s being filmed in parts. My next schedule is in January,” shared the talented actress in an exclusive chat with ETimes.
Anuradha is also playing a key role in another Hindi horror-thriller ‘Book of Azrael’. Meanwhile, her next Bengali film ‘Mayabhoy’, also starring Tota Roy Chowdhury, Rahul Banerjee and Aparajita Ghosh Das, is about a woman who faced a lot of abuse and torture since childhood and trying hard to come out of the mental agony. Anuradha plays the woman in the film which is expected to go on the floors next year. She also impressed all recently playing a medical student in Zeishan Quadri’s ‘Halahal’.
