Anubhav, Ishaa get mobbed at Delhi Cine Utsav

Actor Anubhav Kanjilal who is from Delhi recently received a warm welcome from the cine lovers at the Delhi Cine Utsav. His film ‘Sahobashe’ which is set for its theatrical release next month was screened there and Anubhav and Ishaa Saha, the lead pair from the film, were overwhelmed to see the audience response.
“We were so thrilled to see the response from people who watched the film at the Cine Utsav.Many congratulated us for our performance. It’s actually these appreciations that motivate us. Hard work pays off when you see such a response,” shared Anubhav. The debutant director of the film, Anjan Kanjilal also graced the event with his presence and he, too, is delighted to see how people were able to relate to the story.

“Stress, long working hours, hectic schedules… have made the lives of Indian youth a little disoriented. That’s what you would get to see in Sahobashe,” adds Anubhav while speaking about the film’s main theme.
Shot in and around Kolkata, the cast of this film also includes Saayoni Ghosh, Deboleena Dutta Mukherjee, Rahul Banerjee, Subhashish Mukherjee, Biswajit Chakraborty, and Tulika Basu in pivotal roles.
The Cine Utsav was organized by the Bengal Association, Delhi from March 19 to March 21. Six Bengali feature filma and a few short films were screened at the festival. The festival was inaugurated by Bratya Basu, Abir Chattopadhyay and Firdaus ul Hasan among others.
