’ (Inner Soul) will reportedly cast legendary actor
Soumitra Chatterjee in a special role. However, no further detail about his character has been revealed. The trailer and music of the film were released earlier this month.
‘Antor Shotta’, based on a typical subject of selfless love, is a collective effort by a group of budding filmmakers - Bihaan Sen, Rik Chatterjee and Rajdeep Sarkar. Though the leading lady of the film, Gitashree Roy, is a popular name after giving a powerful performance as a protagonist of TV series Rashi; lead actor,
Rajdeep Sarkar, along with the two directors will make their debut with this flick.
Soumitra
was last seen in Satrajit Sen’s recently released ‘Michael’ and up next for him is debutant director Anumita Dasgupta’s ‘Alo Adhar’.
Not only Soumitra Chatterjee, popular character actors Debasish Ganguly, Anindya Pulak Banerjee and Tulika Basu will also be seen essaying key roles in the film.
‘Antor Shotta’ narrates the emotional love story of Mishti (Geetashree) and Ujaan Chatterjee (Sarkar). Their solitary and individual journeys affect the lives of others close to them and the climax of the story offers a universal significance.
