Anjan Dutt's all praise for Pratim

Anjan Dutt is proud to be a part of Pratim D Gupta’s Ahare Mon. That’s what he wrote on FB yesterday. He saw the film at a plex on Saturday, which was packed to capacity. “Saw Pratim D. Gupta’s Ahare Mon at a houseful show... for the first time this eve. That simplicity and austerity can still create magic on the big screen is so reassuring for senior citizens like me who have chosen quality over quantity since 1979.Script, lensing and the ability to love effortless acting makes Pratim one helluva young colleague,” wrote Anjan. All praise for his co-stars, he further wrote: “Adil Hussain you are the most effortless and sheer magic. Salute. Parno Mittraam so bloomin proud of having found you during Ranjana... 9 years ago. But how come you are as good as Ritwick these days? Ritwick Chakraborty, I always knew you were good when you walked into my house in 2007 for Chalo Lets Go... but now you are a Star. Mamata Shankar let us celebrate!” Heaping praises on his talented son, Neel Dutt, composer of the movie and director Srijit Mukherji, who has penned the lyrics of Monta Ahare, he added, “I wish I had all the space to talk about all the other co actors and crew. You were all so good. Neel Dutt, Srijit Mukherjee your duo work wonders. Thank you all for making my contribution so worthwhile. Thank you my producer and distributor for supporting us. Thanks to Pratim the Captain for such a sweet gem.” About his long write-up, he concluded in a lighter vein, “I will end... its sounding like an badly rehearsed Oscar speech (sic).”
