Anirban Bhattacharya as the titular character was an instant hit. Now, Mimi and Anirban is set play a couple in Arindam Sil’s upcoming thriller ‘
Khela Jakhon
’. The noted director has already told Mimi this will be the most challenging role for her, playing a young girl who is just out of her coma and facing an identity crisis. Anirban will be seen as Mimi’s husband.
The plot sees protagonist Urmi (Mimi) coming out of coma and taken care of by her husband Sagnik (Anirban) and her in-laws. However, Urmi can’t adjust to her new life as the current situations contradict what she believes and Urmi becomes violent. The intense thriller slowly adopts the pace of her violence.

Abir Chatterjee also has turned down the role which Anirban Bhattacharya will play now. Tanushree Chakraborty has been roped in as well to play a key role.
