Anindya’s tryst with Ishwar

Anindya Chatterjee is excited about playing a ‘rastar chhele’ in Debapratim Dasgupta’s film, Ishwar. The movie revolves around Ishwar, a cemetery guard, played by Saswata Chatterjee, who wholeheartedly believes that humans sleep in their graves. A poignant tale about Ishwar’s journey in life — his work, marriage and fatherhood — it is a one-of-its-kind story. “It’s a unique story written by Tajuda (Debapratim).I got hooked to it the moment I heard it. I know the maker for many years and am looking forward to play a random boy living on the streets in the movie; it’s a downtrodden character that will help me showcase my acting prowess,” said Anindya. The movie also stars Priyanka Sarkar, Paran Bandopadhyay, Anindya Chatterjee, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Biswajit Chakraborty, Kaushik Kar, Manasi Sinha and Sonalee Chaudhury and shooting is likely to start on January 28.
