Anindya Pulak Banerjee stars in a gripping murder mystery

Murder mysteries continue to be popular among young filmmakers. Now, talented filmmaker Atiul Islam has come up with yet another crime thriller. Titled ‘Shadow’, it stars Anindya Pulak Banerjee, Devraj Mukherjee, Tanmoy Das, Ishika Ball, Arindya Banerjee, Sananda Sarkar and Sayantani Bannerjee in key roles.
It all starts when young couple Abir and Riya were found dead in their flat and an initial police investigation unravels a dark truth and conspiracy deep inside the protagonists’ minds.Inspector Kabir leads the investigation and discovers Riya didn’t love Abir and was in a relationship with his colleague Anik. The mystery deepens when their boss Prabir Sen gets involved in the case. The twists and turns in the story make it an intense thriller with its thrills and chills.
Atiul’s last directorial ‘Kialay’ had also earned praise. Starring Debolina Dutta, Sudip Mukherjee, Sudipta Chakraborty among others, the film deals with the stern reality of a little girl's school life. Are the digits on the mark sheet everything we need? Also, excessive pressure in early student life often throws a child into severe mental stress and depression.
