Anindya Chatterjee has his hands full

Durga Puja is just round the corner and Anindya Chatterjee has no time to breathe. The young actor has been roped in as the brand ambassador of an old Puja in Bhowanipore.
“Sammilani is paying tribute to 100 years of cinema. It is a 61-year-old Puja and I am overwhelmed by their decision of making me the brand ambassador,” an excited Anindya said.
The actor has recently got back from America after his vacation-cum-work break.He was there to shoot for Debapratim Dasgupta’s next film, Protibimbo. “We shot in Los Angeles and San Francisco for 11 days. Other than me, Rupanjana Maitra, Sandipta and Gitashree are also there in the film,” the actor informed.
The story of Protibombo is written by Debopratim. “The plot revolves around two sisters. While one is an American citizen, the other lives in Kolkata. Most of the cast is yet to be decided. Rupanjana plays the NRI sister. Anindya too will play a pivotal role,” the director said.
Debopratim, Rupanjana and Anindya were in the US to launch the trailer of Aro Ekta Rupkotha. “The trailer was launched in an auditorium in LA on February 23. It is a story of five friends who dispersed in different parts of the world after college. Our trailer was widely appreciated and that gave me the much-needed encouragement for the second project. Despite being an American collaboration, I got all the freedom that one needs in making a film,” Debapratim said.
