The trailer and poster launch of Aniket Chattopadhyay’s

Tuski

was held recently. The director, who finished filming Hoichoi Unlimited with Dev recently, is gearing up for a pre-Puja release. The film is about two young girls — Tuski and Tua — coming from diagonally opposite backgrounds. Giving an insight into the storyline, Aniket had once told us, “Tuski is a young girl living in a slum. While her father is an auto driver, her mother was a maid, who passed away while giving birth to her. Tuski’s aunt, who too ekes out a living by working as a domestic help, comes to stay with them. Next to the slum is a highrise, where Tua lives with her family. Her father is a corporate honcho and this film is a picture in contrast. It’s as much about the two girls as about the divide between the rich and the poor.” Tuski stars Rajesh Sharma, Kanchana Moitra, Pradip Mukhopadhyay, Goutam Sarkar and

Poulomi Basu
