’, releasing this Friday, August 24, speaks for a much more serious issue – the rich-poor segregation in our society. However, in order to get the clearance from the censor board, Aniket had to travel a long way and wait for 4 years as the censor board initially suggested deleting some scenes from the social drama which contain a number of slangs.

While speaking about the problems he faced, Aniket Chatterjee said: “The shooting was done 4 years ago in a slum area near Chetla. I tried to portray the real harsh life. The censor board said too many slangs have been used in the film unnecessarily. They suggested deleting a few scenes but I didn’t agree with what they said. I was waiting for the next development. Finally, they agreed to give the certification under ‘A’ category. I accepted the latest suggestions. Also, when I spoke to the producer 4 years ago he was okay with the script. But after watching the film, he is not happy with the slangs used now. The producer is saying it’s not a children’s film.”

‘Tuski’ features Kharaj Mukherjee, Kanchana Moitra, Sourav Chakraborty, child artists Priyanka Dutta, Moumi Basu and others in the lead.
